In line with establishing energy management systems (EMS) and improving renewable energy productivity, Solarvest Holdings has partnered with Envision Digital International to further contribute to boosting the country’s share of renewables to 20%. As part of the deal, Solarvest will deploy Envision Digital International’s data analytics application on a large scale for solar power in Malaysia. The Malaysian solar sector has been constantly seeking innovative ways to accelerate its growth.
These analytics will be channelled into designated sectors of the solar industry to manage assets effectively. The management of assets such as production, construction and commissioning of solar projects such as mini-hydro and biogas will be assisted by the use of data analytics. The focus on this use of EDI’s cloud data analytics is that it will be powered by Envision’s AIoT operating system.
This project is envisaged to be one of the many that will be deployed to steer the renewable energy sector of the Malaysian economy towards a positive trajectory and to actualize integrated and unified operations amongst renewable energies.
